I started my career on several Service Desks. From their on, I gained more knowledge and experience as a system engineer, specialised in Private and public cloud.
Combining the technical knowledge and the drive to improve processes and user experience, I had some service management roles as IT change manager and follow up of suppliers.
Security
If your are handling information, you need protect it to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity and availability. That is why I always had an interest in security while working in IT. Not only the technical side, but the last years I gained interest and experience on the governance part.
I have helped several company implementing a security governance framework to improve their cyber resilience. I have used the ISO 27001 standard most of the time.
Privacy
Together with my interest in securing information, I always kept in mind to keep personal data private. With the start of the GDPR, I was able to follow some trainings and learned a lot.
Privacy is not dead or boring. Implementing good, practical processes to comply with the law, but improving the trust of the persons involved can be a lot of fun!
